Advantica Names Timothy Olsen as Senior Account Executive
St. Louis, Mo. (Oct. 29, 2014) … Advantica is pleased to announce that Timothy H. Olsen, of Fairfax, Va., has been named senior account executive for the dental and vision benefits provider. In this capacity, Olsen will handle dental and vision benefit commercial sales and key account management for the company’s Mid- Atlantic region.
Olsen brings with him more than three decades of sales experience specific to the insurance industry. This includes time spent with United Concordia Companies, Inc.; ING Employee Benefits; CIGNA and The Equitable, where he was responsible for selling varying combinations of dental, vision and medical plans, as well as other types of coverage. He has a bachelor’s degree in business with a minor in economics from West Virginia Wesleyan College.

Advantica Names James Scheib as Vice President of Sales
St. Louis, Mo. (Aug. 26, 2014) … Advantica is pleased to announce that James W. Scheib, Jr., of Tampa, Fla., has been named vice president of sales for the dental and vision benefits provider. In this capacity, Scheib will oversee the sales and account management of the company’s dental and vision commercial products.
Scheib brings with him nearly three decades of sales and marketing experience specific to the insurance industry. He most recently served as the vice president of sales and marketing for Argus Dental & Vision, Inc., where he was responsible for the creation and oversight of his department, the development and execution of a sales and marketing plan and the establishment of the commercial dental and vision infrastructure needed to produce sustained revenue growth throughout various distribution channels in Florida and nationwide. Over the years, he has been credited with playing a key role in the sales efforts of a number of other health plans, including AvMed Health Plans, Inc., UnitedHealthcare of Florida, Inc., and Vista Healthplan.
Scheib is a member of the National Association of Dental Plans, the National Association of Health Underwriters and the Tampa Association of Health Underwriters. He has previously served as the past president of both the Capital Area and Baton Rouge Associations of Health Underwriters, based in Tallahassee, Fla., and Baton Rouge, La., respectively, and as the past, second vice president of the Central Florida Association of Health Underwriters in Orlando, Fla. He has also served his local community through charitable efforts with the Harbor House of Orlando and New Hope for Kids.
Scheib resides in Tampa, Fla., with his wife Rheta and their five children.

Advantica Names Edward Pattarozzi as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer
St. Louis, Mo. (Aug. 19, 2014) ... Advantica is pleased to announce that Edward Pattarozzi, of Prairie du Sac, Wis., has been named the new chief sales and marketing officer for the dental and vision benefits provider.
Pattarozzi brings with him nearly three decades of sales and marketing experience, most recently serving as the vice president of sales and marketing for Dean Health Plan, a Wisconsin-based, for-profit managed care organization known for serving 400,000 members in the commercial and government sectors which was acquired last year by locally-based SSM Health Care. Remaining as a key team member under the new ownership, he developed and led a team of professionals in sales and retention, marketing communications and product development for individual, small group and large group plans. He was also the organization’s executive sponsor for the health care reform work needed to participate in the Federally Facilitated Marketplace with both on- and off-exchange product offerings. Prior to his time with Dean Health Plan, Pattarozzi served at the helm of Rockford Health Plans, a managed care company in Rockford, Ill. As president and CEO, he was credited with increasing administrative cost efficiencies, achieving a 10 percent reduction in medical loss ratios, creating successful process improvement initiatives and the achievement of NCQA Excellent Accreditation designation.
